Indian chef Vikas Khanna presents Indian 'Utsav' to Obama, Clinton
Washington, Apr 22: Chef Vikas Khanna was a proud man when he recently met US President Barack Obama.
The Amritsar-born chef, who has been creating waves with his culinary skills abroad, recently presented Obama with his book, Utsav which aims at sharing and promoting India's festivals through food.
The book weighing 16 kilos was also presented to Hillary Clinton. Khanna posted a picture of him and Obama on his Facebook page and said: "The journey of Utsav continues. The true soft power of India. Thank you Barack Obama for your blessings and friendship."
Khanna has also been involved in a documentary called Kitchens of Gratitude. Khanna also took to Twitter and thanked the White House.

In the past, prime minister Narendra Modi too had praised the chef [You have made me proud: Narendra Modi tells chef Vikas Khanna]when the latter had prepared an elaborate menu for the PM when he was in the US. Modi had told him that he had made him (Modi) proud with his achievements.
