India and Russia may not sign Kundankulam nuclear pact
The pact, that will set up the third and fourth unit of Tamil Nadu's Kundakulam nuclear power plant will not be ready on time after Russia had apprehensions over the impact that the unlimited liability law would have on them.
India and Russia will sign five agreements at the Indo Russian Annual Summit, that will strenghten the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Both countries are also likely to lookout at the possibility of setting up a gas pipeline from Russia and India, a project prompted by Russian fears of losing its market in Europe.

Manmohan Singh and his Russian counter-part Vladimir Putin are likely to discuss defence aquisitions, trade, energy and other issues.
Russia had joined hands with Nuclear Power Corporation of India and had set up the first two plants, which are expected to start producing power soon.
