Bangalore, Sept 27: First time in the history of US a South Asian was appointed to the United States Circuit judge of the United States court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Judge Sri Srinivasan was appointed to the United States Circuit judge of the United States court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. This court is considered to be the second highest court in the US.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh reached United States to attend the UN General Assembly meeting and also to hold talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Shariff.
