'Facebook' building attacked in Germany
Hamburg, Dec 14: A building housing the Facebook office was attacked by 15-20 miscreants, who wrote 'Facebook dislike' on the walls.
Glasses were also smashed and paints were thrown too at night.
The men were wearing black clothes with hoods. Although the motive behind the attacked could not be ascertained immediately, it is said that the failure to remove racist hate speech from the page could be the possible reason behind the attack.
The attack was in the light of increasing refugee influx and the rising concerns among politicians and celebrities who have voiced concern about the of anti-foreigner comments in German.
A FB spokesperson, however, denied the facts saying,"we can say that the allegations lack merit and there has been no violation of German law by Facebook or its employees."
