Deepika cleavage row goes global
Bangalore, Sept 23: The cleavage row between Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone and the biggest daily in India, Times of India, went global on Tuesday when British daily Guardian reported about the controversy.

In a report titled 'Deepika Padukone: Bollywood star in titillation row with Times of India', the Guardian said: "Actor says she feels violated and is standing up for women, but Times of India accuses her of hypocrisy."

The row started after the Times of India tweeted a link with a video clip showing Padukone's cleavage shot from a high angle. The tweet read: ""OMG! Deepika Padukone's cleavage show".

The 28-year-old actor hit back at the paper soon, when she tweeted: ""YES! I am a woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??"

The individual and the media house traded charges ever since by claiming a moral high ground. After the actor posted her views on the matter on her Facebook wall, the Times of India wrote her an open letter on the basis of that post.

On Monday, another Indian daily an open letter was published in The Hindu taking a dig at the Times of India on the issue.
