Curiosity touched down on Mars on August 5, 2012, and completed its Earth anniversary last year. But since a year in Mars takes 687 days for completion, thanks to its wider orbit than Earth, the Curiosity's Marsiversary was completed on June 24.

Curiosity, which has 1.6 million followers on Twitter, has made a number of discoveries on Mars, including an ancient river bed, raising speculation about the existence of life on its surface in the past. Recently, the rover has been more busy in digging a sandstone site called Windjana. It will next lead to a five-kilometre-high Mount Sharp.
Curiosity was launched from Cape Canaveral in the US on November 26, 2011.
