CNN goof-up: Mistakes Vladimir Putin for Jihadi John
Washington, March 3: US-News Channel, CNN apologised for yet another technical glitch that showed the image of Vladimir Putin while revealing that JIhadi John has been identified. The picture of a masked man, who has appeared in close to five ISIS hostage execution videos, was followed by an angry-looking Vladimir Putin and the caption said-Jihadi John identified.
Meanwhile, Jihadi John has been identified as 26-year old Mohammed Emwazi from London. The blunder was made when CNN was airing correpondent Max Foster's report on Kuwaiti-born Emwazi.

CNN, however, apologised saying,"Due to a failure of a video server during (Thursday's) breaking news broadcast, a photo of Vladimir Putin, prepared for our next report, was accidentally shown. We apologize for that mistake."
Incidentally, this is not the first time that CNN has made a mistake. Last month, it accidentally annexed Ukraine to Russia.
