Islamabad, April 21: Visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping will address joint sitting of the Pakistan Parliament on the second and last day of his visit on Tuesday, media reported.
He will also inaugurate solar power system of the Parliament and will meet Speaker of National Assembly and the Chairman Senate, Radio Pakistan reported.
Xi will be conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan at a special investiture ceremony to be held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
Nishan-e-Pakistan, the highest civil awards is given by the Government of Pakistan for the highest degree of service to the country and nation of Pakistan. The award was established on 19 March 1957.
Later, the President of Pakistan will host a luncheon in honour of the Chinese President and his delegation.
President Xi Jinping arrived in Islamabad on historic visit on April 20. This is the first visit by a Chinese president to Pakistan after nine years.
Pakistani and Chinese delegations held formal talks at the Prime Minister's House, where all aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed.
