Chicago: University student rapes classmate; tries to recreate scene from 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Chicago, Feb 25: In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old engineering college student was arrested for 'tying up classmate with belts in his dormitory at University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), before whipping and raping her in attempt to recreate scene from the erotica Fifty Shades of Grey'.

Mohammad Hossain, who was allegedly 'inspired' by the erotic movie Fifty Shades of Grey to commit the sexual assault, tied the victim, whipped and punched her before raping her'.

The report said that both were re-enacting the scene. Mohammad took the girl to dormitory at 900 West Harrison Street, around 5.30 pm on Saturday, Feb 21. He asked the girl to undress herself. However, she did not remove her inner-wear.

Mohammad, then, tied up her hands and legs with belts on the bed, blindfolded her with a knit cap and gagged her mouth with a neck tie, before removing her underwear and bra.

Mohammad punched and hit her several times, when girl began crying and shouting that he was hurting her.

He ignored girl's cries and continued to whip her, after which he sexually assaulted her.

The aggravated criminal sexual assault was stopped when Mohammad's roomate was about to reach there. Then, the alleged victim managed to escape.

The girl informed about the scary incident to the police. Then, based on her complaint, Mohammad was arrested, who confessed to "doing something wrong".

He is in police custody with $500,000 bail charges.

His lawyer claims that the sexual encounter between the two was consensual.

According to Chicago Tribune, the victim also told police that she had "previously been intimate" with Hossain but the two weren't dating.

A day after committing the crime, Mohammad posted a status (that he shared with public) on his Facebook wall that said, "I'm finally satisfied."
