Barcelona terror attack: Several terrorists shot dead
13 people were killed when a van rammed into a crowd of pedestrians on Barcelona's iconic Las Ramblas on Thursday, police said.
Four terrorists have been shot dead in connection with the Barcelona attack that left 13 dead and 100 injured. A spokeswoman for the Catalan police has confirmed that officers shot dead four alleged perpetrators and injured one more during the counter-terror raid in Cambrils. Another person was shot after driving through a police check-point, but officials said that the dead person had nothing to do with the attack.

The famous Las Ramblas boulevard is one of Barcelona's busiest streets, normally thronged with tourists and street performers until well into the night. Police announced the incident was a terror attack.
