Welcome! Cute cubs
On Christmas day last year, three males and one female white lion cubs were born at Magdeburg Zoo in Germany. Their parents are mother Kiara and father Madiba. According to experts, white lions have been seen in the Timbavati area for centuries, but were only 'discovered' again in 1977 when they became the focus of naturalist Chris McBride's 'The White Lions of the Timbavati'.
This is how cubs enjoy
The zoo authorities have expressed immense happiness at their arrival as they belong to extremely rare species almost extinct in their native Timbavati, South Africa, because of large-scale poaching. Currently, they are seven-week-old and weigh between eight and 11 kilograms each.
