The people inside the container, including men, women and children, were believed to be from the Indian subcontinent and were discovered inside the container on a ship that arrived from Zeebrugge port in Belgium.
The survivors were taken to nearby hospitals where two were found to be in a serious condition. The others were suffering from dehydration and hypothermia.
