As Karnataka gears up for assembly polls in 2018, Swaraj India has announced its launch in the state but has remained mum about fielding candidates for the polls. It may be recalled that the AAP had made its debut in Karnataka assembly polls in 2013. This time around, Swaraj India, with its 'clean image' hopes to get the same attention that AAP did during the previous elections.
Yadav, who rebelled against the AAP launched Swaraj India as his political platform along with fellow AAP rebel Bhushan. Mahadeva is expected to be the party's face in the state. Delhi's civic poll is the party's first venture into electoral politics.
