Yogendra Yadav resigns from AAP committee
New Delhi, May 31: Yogendra Yadav of the AAP Saturday resigned from the membership of the party's political affairs committee (PAC) taking responsibility for the poor performance in Haryana in the Lok Sabha election, party sources said.

The Aam Aadmi Party failed to bag a single Lok Sabha seat out of the 10 in the state.

Naveen Jaihind, another leader and prominent face of the AAP in Haryana, also resigned from the membership of the national executive (NE) committee.

Party leaders said they will try to convince the two leaders to think again on their decision.

Party spokesperson and Delhi unit secretary Dilip Pandey later clarified that the duo had resigned as members of the PAC and NE and not from the party. Pankaj Gupta, party's national secretary said that the issue will be discussed in the NE when it meets again.
