World's heaviest woman Eman plans to leave India, doctor warns family

Earlier, shaimma Selim had allegedly given water to Eman Ahmed to drink that was strongly prohibited by doctors. Eman could not eat and hence tubes were kept to feed her.

Mumbai, April 30: As the world's heaviest woman Eman Ahmed plans to leave India on Sunday, the bariatric surgeon who treated the Egyptian national had warned her family of shifting her.

Mufazzal Lakdawala, a surgeon who treated her at Saifee hospital in Mumbai had said that the family was making a mistake by shifting Eman Ahmed to the United Arab Emirates. He said that it is wrong thinking at the time of difficulty describing Eman's family decision to shift her.

Eman Ahmed, who was admitted to hospital for treatment in February is going to be shifted to a hospital in Abu Dhabi.

The doctor said that he had promised Eman's family that he is going to take her to India on a bed and send her back in a chair. He added that he did not promise the family he would make her walk. He said that as a doctor, he brought down the weight from 500kg to 176.6 kg.

Speaking of the doctors from UAE, Lakdawala said that the hospital members cooperated well with the doctors and all the medical reports of Eman had been shared. He added that he do not have any clue why Eman is being shifted there.

Dr Aparna Bhaskar said that Eman was brought to Mumbai on a chartered cargo plane and now she will fly as a passenger in business class flight.

Earlier, her sister Shaimma Selim had alleged that the doctors in Saifee hospital were not treating her properly and showing the false reports on Eman Ahmed.

Lakdawala had alsos said that Selim was creating an issue because she does not want to take Eman back to Egypt due to fiancial crisis and hence making baseless allegations.

The Egyptian national who weighed 500 kg at the time of arrival, now weighs 176.6 kg.
