Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Row: Now, AAP questions Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi
New Delhi, Feb 13: Days after their launch of protest against Muesh Ambani and his company Reliance, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders now have started questioning Narendra Modi about his silence over the issue.

AAP leader Ashutosh asked, "Is Narendra Modi silent on Mukesh Ambani because of campaign funds." During an interview with NDTV, Ashutosh was asked whether interference into Central government and Reliance's deal comes under AAP's jurisdiction or not.

In replying to the question, Ashutosh raised another question, "...I want to ask a question to the BJP and Narendra Modi, their candidate for PM - why did they keep quiet on the issue of the KG basin which in our opinion will accrue a loss of 54,000 crore per year to the government exchequer."

Is Narendra Modi silent on Mukesh Ambani because of campaign funds?

"Is it because Modi's campaign is financed by Mukesh Ambani and his company? Narendra Modi blames the Congress for corruption and wants to make India Congress-free. How can he overlook a scam of such magnitude?" he added.

However, Ashutosh clarified his party's stand on the controversial issue saying, "Delhi government under Arvind Kejriwal is well within its right to lodge an FIR against Mukesh Ambani."

Ashutosh's questions for Modi surfaced after the FIR which was filed against Mukesh Ambani, Petroleum Minister Veerappa Moily and two others.

Earlier Kejriwal had ordered Delhi's anti-corruption wing to file criminal cases against Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani and Petroleum Minister M Veerappa Moily, among others, for allegedly creating artificial scarcity of natural gas and fixing prices.
