New Delhi, Nov 16: I have been watching Arun Jaitley (Finance Minister) in Rajya Sabha and he is looking very 'dukhi,' (sad), Mayawati, the supremo of the BSP said in Rajya Sabha. She was making a reference to the demonetization issue which has been the main debate in the Rajya Sabha today.
"It is a sensitive issue and we want the Prime Minister to come to the Rajya Sabha and take part in this discussion. I have been observing Jaitley ji in the Rajya Sabha and have noticed he does look very 'dukhi'," the BSP supremo said.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Anand Sharma launched a blistering on the Central Government over the demonetisation issue and asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to apologise for causing grave incovenience to people.
The senior Congress leader said if the governemnt truly wishes to address black money issue then it should make the names in the list of Swiss bank account holders public.
Prime Minister Modi, had on November 8, announced that all Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 rupee notes would cease to be valid in all forms of transactions in a bid to tackle hoarding of black money, corruption and terror financing.
