Which politician is ahead on social media in poll-bound states

Assam ruled by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi-led Congress has successfully conducted assembly polls in two phases on April 4 and April 11. Meanwhile, West Bengal's first phase (in two sub-phases is over on April 4 and April 11) and remaining five phases are left (April 17, April 21, April 25, April 30 & May 5).

Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry will take place in single phase on May 16, Monday. Results of all five states will be declared on May 19, Thursday.

Mamata Banerjee (Trinamool Congress)

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and founder Chairperson of All India Trinamool Congress has 2,97,452 followers on Twitter and 1,638,103 likes on Facebook.

Tarun Gogoi (Congress)

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has 31,131 followers on Twitter and 75,104 likes on Facebook.

Oommen Chandy (Congress)

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy 51,333 followers on Twitter and 921,925 likes on Facebook.

J Jayalalithaa (AIADMK)

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has 17,042 followers on Twitter and 208,447 likes on Facebook.

M Karunanidhi (DMK)

DMK chief M Karunanidhi may be in opposition in Tamil Nadu, but on social media, he is far ahead than Jayalalithaa. 94-year-old Karunanidhi has 73,601 followers on Twitter and 5,25,624 likes on his Facebook page.

M K Stalin (DMK)

DMK treasurer and party's Youth Wing President has 72,743 followers on Twitter and 1,726,818 likes on Facebook.

Sarbananda Sonowal (BJP)

BJP's chief ministerial candidate from Assam has 15,126 followers on Twitter & 159,272 likes on Facebook.

Puducherry Chief Minister N Ranagasamy has no social media presence till now.
