New Delhi, Nov 20: In a recent dig at Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, BJP leader and union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi advised him to visit Baba Ramdev's ashram to gain some maturity. The leader has also advised grand old party's president Sonia Gandhi to infuse some knowledge to her son.
Naqvi's statements comes a day after Rahul rejected the allegations levelled against him and his family members as baseless and dared the BJP government to put him in jail and said that he has not done anything wrong.
"Modiji, you have got agencies. Get investigations done. If you get anything in six months, put me in jail. The muck that you are throwing at me, at my family.... Send me to jail if I have done any wrong," he was quoted as saying.
Earlier on Monday, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy alleged that Rahul Gandhi had declared himself a British citizen in the registration papers of a private company in London.
Dismissing BJP leader Subramanian Swamy's statement on Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's citizenship as "false", the opposition party on Wednesday reiterated that Rahul held Indian citizenship from day one.
"Rahul Gandhi has held Indian citizenship and Indian passport from day one. You (BJP) have the entire machinery (at your disposal) and you should be able to put out a single proof and not these straws in the winds by a person like Dr. (Subramanian) Swamy. If you are the government, you should have produced some material rather than relying on Dr. Swamy's allegations which are false," said Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi.
