Vyapam scam: 70 jailed accused write to President, seek 'permission to die'
Bhopal, Aug 8: This could further add to the cup of woes of Shivraj Singh Chouhan led BJP Government which is already on the backfoot over the Vyapam scam.
Reportedly 70 people, who are currently in the Gwalior jail for their alleged role in the mysterious scam have written to President.
It has been requested that either they should be given bail or permission to die. Apart from President, the letter has also been sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Apparently, they are peeved with the slow pace of investigation in the scam.
Earlier in the day, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered five fresh FIRs in connection with its ongoing probe into the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.
