Uttar Pradesh: Carcass found inside temple; spurs tension
Muzaffarnagar, Dec 22: Tension gripped Parasauli village of Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh after a carcass of an animal was found in the premises of a temple on Saturday.
According to report in India Today, some unidentified persons threw the carcass in Prachin Mandir of the village. The report also said they stole idol of Nandi and put heads of two animals inside the temple.
Meanwhile, village pradhan (chief) Satyendra Saini has lodged a complaint with the police against unidentified persons.
The report said soon after the incident came to light, MoS, Agriculture Sanjeev Baliyan visited the area and demanded an investigation to nab the miscreants.
Reacting on the issue, Superintendent of Police said, "We have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and hope to arrest the perpetrators of disharmony."
