New Delhi, Nov 26: Now that the Goa police has taken up the high profile Tehelka sexual assault case, eminent feminist and activist Urvashi Butalia has turned down the role of the committee lead of the internal probe team in the organization.

In fact, she has written to Shoma Chaudhury saying that the committee under the Vishakha guidelines does not make sense anymore as law will take its own course.

Zubaan said,"We would like to clarify that our director Urvashi Butalia is not on the committee Tehelka was planning to set up in line with the Vishakha guidelines, nor on any other committee related to the Tejpal case."

Yet again, a blow to Shoma, the Managing Editor of Tehelka, who was till now banking upon an internal probe that was alleged to be a cover up for the case. Tarun Tejpal, the Editor-in-Chief of Tehelka is being questioned for his involvement in sexually molesting an intern at the organization at 'Think' fest in Goa on the 7th and 8th of November.
