Chandarpur (Maharastra), April 4: BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Chandarpur today. Later during the day he will address rallies in Odisha.

Highlights of rally in Rourkela, Odisha

Speaking to the people here, Narendra Modi said that 'if anyone wanted to see how the winds have changed in the country, they must visit Rourkela.' "Naveen Babu your days are over, Madam Sonia ji see which way the winds are blowing," he said.

He said that people wanted a change. "They want to punish those who have ruined the nation. What did Naveen do for Odisha. This is a democracy and dynasty is the biggest enemy of democracy," he said. He said that on side there were those fathers were PM's and CM's and on one side was he, who belonged to a poor family.

Highlights of the rally in Chandarpur

Speaking to the people here Narendra Modi said that he had a special relation with this region and thanked the people for their hospitality and love.

Raising about the issue of maoists in the region, Modi said that there were divisions on fighting maoists in the country. "There is constant division in the Congress and due to that people are suffering," he said.

Taking a dig at Congress President Sonia Gandhi Modi said that Sonia madam was fooling people, specially women. "You are a woman but you are misleading women. You present false facts and mislead the women. You must know that atrocities on women in top 10 states have not a single BJP run or BJP supported state," he said.

He said that there was a time when the Congress would throw dust in the eyes of the people. "Now they have started throwing pepper spray in the eyes of people," he said.

Praising Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Modi said: "What did the Congress do all these years for the tribals? Atalji created a ministry for the tribal community," he said.
