According to media reports, three hospital staff including one nurse flushed out the baby through a toilet inside the hospital premise just to cover up their negligence.

Media reports claimed that a pregnant woman was admitted to a district hospital at Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. The woman went to a wash room when she felt uncomfortable on the hospital bed.

Nurse flushed out the baby through the toilet with the help of an iron rod

The woman reportedly alerted the attending nurse as she sensed that she was going to deliver then and there. However, all her request to the nurse fell in deaf ears.

Later, the pregnant woman gave birth to a baby which accidentally fell into the toilet and the woman fell unconscious.

When the nurse discovered the woman and the baby, she first called two other staff of the hospital and flushed out the baby through the toilet with the help of an iron rod. The husband of the woman was told that she did not deliver any baby.

The horrible incident came to light when a sweeper entered the toilet next day for cleaning and he found the baby's body.
