Lucknow, Dec 9: God could not be everywhere so he created mothers. The power of a mother's unconditional love for his child was proved when a woman in Lucknow, bravely fought with a fierce leopard and she protected her 4-year-old daughter from his claws.
According to media reports, Phoolmati, a woman in her mid-30s, was passing through fields, with her two little daughters--- Gudiya and Richa, at a village in Motipur range of Katarniaghat wildlife sanctuary, on Sunday, Dec 6, morning.
As it was early morning, a leopard was reportedly hiding behind the bush, when he noticed the trio. Then, he suddenly attacked and dragged her 4-year-old daughter into the field.
Without wasting anytime, the shocked woman raised an alarm to alert nearby villagers. But no-one heard her cries. Then, she took it upon herself to single-handedly save her child.
For nearly 30 minutes, Phoolmati pelted stones on the wild cat, to divert his attention. In the meanwhile, villagers also gathered there, after which he retracted.
