UP government's social media activities vanish
Seems like the outgoing Samajwadi party led Uttar Pradesh government doesn't want to leave a single trace of its activity on social media. Two official accounts of the Uttar Pradesh government and the Chief Minister's office on twitter were wiped clean of all tweets on Tuesday. All tweets of verified twitter handles, @CMOfficeUP and @UPGovt were deleted abruptly without the tweets being archived.
Questions are now being raised on why the Uttar Pradesh government was in a hurry to clean up its social media slate before the same were archived. A senior journalist pointed out to the same raising questions.

it should be archive, if deleted then its against IT policy
whats reason and why deleted ?
After the disappearance of the tweets created a furore, the @CMOfficeUP handle claimed that all tweets had been archived and the link to the same would be shared shortly.
The Uttar Pradesh government's Information technology cell ensured that all activity from their official social media pages disappeared by availing an online service that auto-deletes social media engagement on Twitter. Another social media handle, UP News 360, an initiative by the department of information and public relation also saw hundreds of posts being deleted on Tuesday. It was reported that the www.upnews360.in website was also not working.
