UP CM Yogi Adityanath meets Modi in Delhi
Newly-appointed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party leader Yogi Adityanath will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.
Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath met PM Narendra Modi in the Parliament on Tuesday. This was the first meeting between the firebrand leader and Modi after the former took over as chief minister on Sunday.

Adityanath was sworn in on Sunday as the chief minister of a Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh. Cheered by tens of thousands of supporters, the 21st chief minister of the country's most populous state was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Ram Naik. He heads a 47-member council of ministers, including two deputy CMs, 22 cabinet ministers, nine ministers of state with independent charge and 13 ministers of state.
Adityanath has promised to work for all sections of the society without any discrimination, pursuing the agenda of sabka sath, sabka vikas.
The BJP swept to power in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, decimating the opposition.
