Two BSF jawans killed in naxal attack in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, Mar 12: At least two BSF jawans were killed and four others injured in a naxal attack in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district on Saturday.
The jawans were engaged in an encounter with the naxals. This is the second major attack in a span of a month.
There has been intelligence suggesting a surge in naxal violence in Chattisgarh. The security forces have been engaging in battle with the naxals on numerous occasions.
The central and state intelligence suggests that with several naxal camps being shut down by security agencies there has been a desperate attempt to regroup.

Only last month a BSF jawan was killed by naxals at the Kanker district of Chhattisgarh. In another incident three jawans were injured at Dantewada.
In the Kanker incident the naxals shot the jawan when he was unarmed and had gone to the market.
