Bangalore
Bangalore, June 21: The murder of Sourabh Rastogi, a 35-year old senior manager, in his apartment has taken a shocking twist. It is suspected that his wife may have a direct role to play in this.

Police suspects that the prime suspect Reshvin Chengappa and Ankisha Rastogi had an affair and the former wanted to marry the latter.

Police has retrieved a CCTV footage from the Sun City Apartment where Sourabh lived, which showed Reshvin being the last one entering Sourabh's apartment.

Confessing to his crime, Reshvin said that he enetered Sourabh's apartment on the pretext of helping him pack for his journey to US on the 27th of June. Reshvin further confessed to have stabbed his senior colleague several times before slitting his throat with the hope that he would be able to marry Ankisha.

R Auradhkar, the Police Commissioner of Bangalore police said,"Sourabh Rastogi was working in Genpact and his wife was also in Genpact, one more person Reshvin was also working there. Reshvin had developed friendship with the wife of Sourabh. They were in touch with each other through mobile phone. He became too possessive about her. Sourabh and Ankisha were planning to move to the US on the 27 of June. On the night of the murder, the accused entered the flat saying he would help with packing. He carried a knife and attacked Sourabh."

Though, Sourabh's wife was in Pune at the time of the murder, police has retrieved a lot of electronic evidence which proved that Reshvin and Ankisha were in constant touch with each other even after the murder.

Police further added,"Lot of electronic evidence was collected and it was concluded that Sourabh's wife and Reshvin had constant communication and they were in touch very often. He visited their home very often. We cannot confirm now if she is involved in the conspiracy but cannot deny it either."

Ankisha is now being interrogated by the police, which says that she may be arrested if there are evidences of her involvement.
