Mumbai, June 30: Popular TV actor Manish Vishwakarma who plays a character of Mendhak Prasad in comedy serial ‘Chidiya Ghar' has met with an accident. As per latest report, the actor has slipped into coma.
Reportedly, the accident took place when the TV actor was on his way to the studio. Vishwakarma had to reach studio to shoot for the comedy show of SAB TV.
It is being said that the actor was on his bike in Aarey Colony in Geregain, Mumbai when he was hit by a car. Shockingly, the car owner fled from the accident site and didn't even bother to carry him to the hospital. Seeing actor in the pain, the local residents carried him to the hospital.
Manish has sustained serious head injuries in the accident and is currently in the ICU in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Meanwhile, Manish's friend and actress Shilpa Shinde has alleged that the hapless actor moved into coma because he was not properly attended at KEM Hospital.
Narrating the nightmare, Shinde was quoted by the Mumbai Mirror as saying, "When Manish, who is always punctual, didn't reach the sets on time, a production scheduler called him almost 25 times till a cop answered the call and informed that Manish had met with an accident. He was taken to a nearby hospital but the doctors there were unequipped to handle with such severe injuries and suggested they take him to KEM Hospital in Parel."
Earlier, actor's co star in the comedy show, Aditi Sajwan had shared this shocking news on social media. She had appealed fans to pray for him.
