TTV Dinakaran meets Sasikala Natarajan in jail
Jayalalithaa's nephew Deepak Jayaram also met Sasikala on Monday
Sasikala Natarajan's nephew and current deputy general secretary of the AIADMK, TTV Dinakaran met her in the Bengaluru central prison on Monday. It was learnt that late Jayalalithaa's nephew Deepak Jayaram also visited her.
Dinakaran accompanied by supporters arrived at the Parappana Agrahara where Sasikala is lodged after being convicted in a disproportionate assets case. This is the first time after her imprisonment, that either a family member or a party leader has come to meet her.
His visit comes on the day newly sworn-in Chief Minister Palanisami attended office for the first time and executed new orders. It was expected that the duo would meet Sasikala soon after the floor test, however, the Chief Minister seems to have been instructed to keep his distance for now.
