Train derails near Nashik, five dead
Ghoti, (Maharastra), Nov 15: Five passengers have been killed and over 50 injured as the Mangala Express derailed in Ghoti near Nashik in Maharashtra on Friday morning.

Reports suggest that four coaches of the train had derailed. The train was travelling from Delhi to Ernakulam.

Reports suggest that 25 passengers maybe still trapped under the derailed coaches. The injured have been admitted to the Ghoti Rural Hospital.

The cause of the accident is not yet known. The mishap is said to have occurred at 6.20 am today. Rescue operations are in progress.

Many trains were cancelled on the up side post the accident.
