TMC to win 41% votes in West Bengal: ABP News-Nielsen survey

Kolkata, March 29: The Left Front will face a setback once again in West Bengal in the upcoming general election, predicts an opinion poll conducted by ABP News-Nielsen.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) will get 28 seats out of 42 in the Lok Sabha polls 2014 in West Bengal and the Left parties are expected to get 10 seats, says the survey. Modi wave will not have any impact in the state and BJP will get one seat, the survey finds.

Congress is likely to win only 3 seats in the state, adds the survey.

BJP and Congress will win 1 and 3 seats respectively: Survey

In the previous survey conducted in January, the BJP was predicted to win zero seats. It shows that, as the campaign progresses, BJP is gaining. In the previous survey, Congress was predicted to win just 2 seats.

Mamata Banerjee's TMC is a clear winner in the current elections, finds the survey. 41 per cent of voters will vote for TMC.

Left parties, consisting CPM, CPI, AIFB and RSP will get 31 per cent votes in the state.

The Congress will win 8 per cent vote share and BJP is expected to get 14 per cent votes in the West Bengal.
