Uday Kiran and some of his family members in connection with his alleged

Vishitha and others were quizzed as part of the probe into the case, a police officer said. When asked whether the 33-year-old actor had tried to kill himself in the past also, the officer declined to comment saying the investigations are on. "We are still awaiting Uday Kiran's postmortem report," he said. Uday Kiran, who started out as a heartthrob in 2000, allegedly committed suicide in his flat at Srinagar colony here on Sunday night, apparently after film offers dried up of late, pushing him into mental depression.

Known as a 'Hat-Trick' hero in the film circuit, he was among the most choicest actors in the Telugu film industry. However, latest reports say that he was pretty upset about the type-cast roles as a Romantic hero he was being offered and wanted more out of the Telugu film industry.

He also complained that the industry did not treat him well.
