Sangareddy, Dec 2 Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has instructed officials to fast-track the work of the two bedroom housing scheme so as to enable its inauguration by December-end.
"The project of two bedroom homes should be completed immediately after which a mass house warming ceremony will be conducted in the last week of this month," Rao said after visiting villages Erravelli and Narsannapet in Markook mandal of Gajwel assembly constituency in Siddipet district today. He reviewed progress of the homes and other developmental works.
The village development committee has been asked to arrange the inauguration programme in the last week of December as most of the work has been completed. Earlier, Chief Minister visited scheduled caste, backward caste wards in Erravelli village and examined the developmental works.
He also took stock of cement concrete road works, underground drainage works and expressed satisfaction over the progress. Later, Rao visited Narsannapet village and reviewed the double bedroom house work.
He directed the district collector P Venkatram Reddy to expedite the works of newly-sanctioned homes and make arrangement for inauguration of already completed homes.
