If Tejpal, who is facing rape charges filed by a former junior colleague, misses 3pm deadline today, non bailable warrant will be issued against him, informed the police. Tejpal's wife had confirmed receiving the summons yesterday.
Meanwhile, rumours suggest that Tejpal may be arrested on his arrival in Goa.
Police has also issued border check post alerts for Tejpal.
Tehelka editor Shoma Chowdhury, who had been defending the organisation all the while, resigned from Tehelka on Thursday morning. She rejected the allegations of cover-up of sexual assault incident.
