Tejashwi Yadav lands in trouble for disrespecting 'Vande Mataram'

A case has been registered against former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav in Darbhanga for allegedly disrespecting 'Vande Mataram' in a tweet.

The case was registered in connection with Tejashwi's tweet on August 13 in which he says 'Vande Mataram' means 'Bande maarate hain hum ( it means we kill people).
His tweet was apparently referring to the death of nearly 70 children in Gorakhpur's BRD Medical college due to lack of oxygen cylinders.

Talking to ANI, he said: "This is nothing less than murder. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) only speaks about progress but does not look into the ground reality of the situation. The government is not in control of anything in the state."
