Tehelka scandal: Goa cops summon Tejpal
New Delhi, Nov 27: Former Teheka editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal, who is accused of sexually assaulting a junior colleague, has been summoned by Goa police, say sources. Police have already recorded victim's statement in Mumbai.

The police has also issued an immigration check post alert against Tarun Tejpal as a precautionary measure as he is a wanted accused in a rape case.

Victim's mother files complaint

Meanwhile, the family of the young journalist, on Tuesday filed a complaint to the Delhi Police about intimidation by Tarun's family members. Victim on Saturday had said that she and her family were being subjected to pressure and intimidation at an "intensely traumatic" time to "protect" Tejpal.

Delhi police said victim's mother filed a complaint with Pandav Nagar police in East Delhi against a member of the Tejpal family.

On Tuesday, the Delhi High Court rejected Tejpal's plea for interim protection against arrest in the case.
Tejpal termed the FIR against him as politically motivated. He also alleged that Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar was taking undue interest in the matter.
