Also, Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parikkar told Times Now that strict action will be taken in the case immediately.
All India Progressive Women's Association (AIPWA) president Kavita Krishnan told the CNN-IBN that the victim wants to file an official complaint with the police.
"The apology is not really an apology... The complainant is not asking for penance but proper process," Krishnan told CNN-IBN.

Writer Meenakhi Reddy Madhavan's twitter post read, "And if it's your editor, a father figure you admire, that's even worse. Shame on you, Tarun Tejpal. You did a bad bad thing".
