Tarun Gogoi and BJP State prez's duel taken to Assembly Election level
Sonowal asked the CM to look into his own political career
According to media, Sonowal while addressing a press meet at its central office on Wednesday, had threw challenge to Tarun Gogoi, saying that if he has a pinch of moral courage then institute an inquiry by a former sitting judge of Gauhati High Court.
"We will submit all the documents what we have to such enquiry committee in order to prove our claim that the essential commodities price graph has touched a record height due to syndicate group and unauthorized check gate" Sonowal quipped.
He further went ahead to reiterate his earlier claim and stated that "if Gogoi is sincere than close all the check gates spreading in several areas of the State and control the syndicate groups with an iron hand". He also alleged that the Chief Minister had lost his moral right to continue as head of the government because latter had lost minimum social courtesy to address others
Referring Tarun Gogoi's claim that the BJP President Sonowal had no fixed Legislative Assembly constituency where form he could participate in the proposed election, slated to be held in 2014, Sonowal very politely asked the Chief Minister to look into his own political career, which may shed light on it. He said, Gogoi on several occasion had changed his constituencies from Margherita to Jorhat and now he is representing Titabor Legislative Assembly constituency.
