According to police sources, Vinod fainted as his classmate dealt him a blow on the back of the neck. Family members of the deceased refused to accept his body as they demanded strict police action against the teachers of the school who failed to notice and stop the nasty fight between the two young boys inside the school.
Media reports quoted sources as saying that the school is plagued by problems among students. There are often caste disputes between boys, which result in frequent fights. However, Wednesday's incident had nothing to do with any caste problem as both the boys hailed from backward classes.
