Tainted MP Ghosh names Mamata
Kolkata, Nov 23: Suspended Trinamool politician Kunal Ghosh, who is expected to be arrested at any moment in connection with Saradha scam, has named party supremo Mamata Banerjee in the case.

Saradha CEO Sudipta Sen was close to the chief minister, Ghosh said, adding that Sudipta Sen created media houses to help Mamata become the Prime Minister.

"Madam, I am setting up my media house in a way that it helps you become the PM", This is what Sudipta Sen told Mamata," Ghosh said, reported Times of India.

The CID probe into the Saradha scam is a fake , Kunal said. Saradha Ceo Sen had disappeared hours after the scam was unearthed. This shows everything was pre-planned, said Ghosh.

Ghosh alleged that the investigation is done as per directed by a 'high-above', indicating Mukul Roy. "I want Rajiv Kumar (Bidhannagar Police commissioner), who takes orders from Mukul Roy, to arrest me. I will not plead for anticipatory bail," Ghosh said.

Ghosh cried foul and said he is being made scapegoat while the real culprits are being 'worshipped' in the state. Ghosh added that he will write to prime minister demanding a CBI probe into the case.

Ghosh said police have threatened to arrest him if he doesn't tell them where the Saradha money has been invested. "I know nothing about Sen's funds. So it is not possible for me to give such details. I am not disturbed with the agencies questioning me. I am hurt because those who I trusted have backstabbed me," he said.

Ghosh said he wanted the investigators to find out whose envoy met Sudipta Sen before the letter was written to CBI. "I am sure Sen was compelled to write the letter to CBI. It was not his deliberate decision. Even his disappearance into a village in UP was preplanned," Ghosh claimed.

However, Trinamool leaders chose not to respond to Ghosh's statements. "He (Kunal Ghosh) is currently under suspension. We choose not to respond to his comments," said party spokesperson Derek O'Brien.

Rebel Trinamool MP Somen Mitra backed Ghosh's demand to have a CBI enquiry. .
