Sunanda's autopsy report was submitted to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) by the AIIMS doctors on Monday evening, who reassessed the statements recorded in connection with the mysterious death.
The autopsy was performed by a three-member team of doctors at AIIMS, who had earlier said that her death was "sudden and unnatural".
The report further said that there were 12 to 15 injury marks on her body.
The autopsy report indicated that Sunanda had consumed three strips of Alprax.
The doctors who conducted the autopsy on Saturday spoke about injury marks on her wrist and hand.
52-year-old Sunanda was found dead in her hotel room in Leela Palace in New Delhi's Chanakyapuri on Friday.
Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar got married in Aug 2010, and it was the third marriage for both of them.
A few hours after her death, Shashi Tharoor, too, was admitted in AIIMS after complaining of general chest discomfort.
