Sunanda Pushkar case: Cops likely to ask Tharoor to take polygraph test
new Delhi, June 30: The Delhi police may ask Shashi Tharoor to undergo a polygraph or lie detector tes. Sources say that if the need be they may request him to undergo a polygraph test in connection with the Sunanda Pushkar case.

Delhi police officials that a polygraph test may be sought to unearth more details in the case which led to the death of Sunanda Pushkar.
She was found dead in her hotel room under mysterious circumstances over a year back.After initially terming it as a natural death the Delhi police registered a case of murder.

the
Delhi
police
asks
Shashi
Tharoor
to
undergo
the
test
he
is
free
to
either
accept
or
reject
it.
Moreover the findings in a polygraph test are not admissible before a court of law. The findings can be used only to determine leads in an investigation. In this cases Delhi police officials say once the decision to ask Tharoor to undergo the test is taken he could be asked the same set of questions he was asked earlier.
The police will try and ascertain if the answers given by Shashi Tharoor are consistent in nature.
Shashi Tharoor who has been questioned more than once has said that he will extend all cooperation to the police investigating the death of his wife.
