Sunanda Pushkar case: Amar Singh summoned for questioning
Bengaluru, Jan 28: Former Samajwadi Party leader, Amar Singh who had made sensational claims about the Sunanda Pushkar murder case has been summoned by the Special Investigating Team of the Delhi police.
Singh was called by the SIT for questioning as the investigating agency felt that he had information about the case. There are several questions that Amar Singh would have to answer based on the claims that he had made about her death recently.
The IPL controversy
The SIT is seeking more information from Amar Singh about the IPL controversy which has become centric to the probe. Singh had claimed recently that Sunanda had broken down in front of him and wanted to come clean on the IPL controversy.
The SIT which is probing the IPL angle feels that Singh could know about this. He knew the family well and was in constant touch with them. Why did Sunanda call Amar Singh and break down with him is what the SIT would want to know.
Further the SIT would also want him to reveal more information about the IPL issue and also ask him why and what did Sunanda mean when she wanted to come clean on the issue.
