Sunanda murdered - No time frame to question Tharoor

Tharoor is currently in Kochi where he will spend time with his mother who is unwell. He is expected to leave after another two days to New Delhi.

No time frame:

A Delhi police officer part of the investigation informed that no time frame has been fixed for the questioning of Tharoor. He has assured of us of full cooperation.

Tharoor is however not expected to go before the police unless he has been called. The police too say that there is no need for him to come before us unless we call him.

Corroborating evidence:

The police say that they are currently corroborating the evidence in the case. We are questioning everyone connected with the incident. The CCTV footage from the hotel where Sunanda died will also be reexamined.

We are trying to find who the visitor was as was claimed by the domestic help. These are all crucial aspects to the investigation and we will corroborate every little detail.

Report from KIMS will be sought:

The Delhi police will also seek a report from KIMS at Tiruvananthapuram which had treated her for joint pain two days before she passed away. She had spent two days at the hospital between January 12 and 14th 2014.

The doctors there said that she was not suffering from any life threatening ailment. The medical report stated that she was allergic to drugs containing pencillin and lactose. She was also prescribed an anti inflammatory medicine at KIMS.

She was prescribed an anti inflammatory medicine and was also given pantacid and evion, the doctors say.

Further the doctors also stated that she was also not in any need of anti depressant pills.

The Delhi police say if the need be they can also question the doctor who treated here. In addition to this some Kerala Congress members who had last year claimed that there was a fight between Sunanda and Shashi Tharoor will also be asked to depose, the police said.
