As per the reports, Tharoor who is in Kerala, had been asked to join probe at the earliest. Delhi Police had registered a case of murder a few days ago in the matter, following the final report from the medical board of doctors at AIIMS which conducted autopsy on Pushkar.

An SIT has also been formed by the police to probe the case. Pushkar was found dead in a south Delhi hotel's suite on January 17 last year.
