Bharat Bandh: Medical services hit in Delhi hospitals
New Delhi/Guwahati/Chandigarh/Srinagar, Sep 2: Essential services such as banking and transport hit on Friday due to dawn to dusk country-wide shutdown called by 10 central trade unions against "anti-worker" changes in labour laws and the Centre's "indifference" to their demands for better wages. "
Shops, business establishments, markets, banks and financial institutions, government offices and educational institutions were closed and vehicles were off the roads.
