Stone-pelting after attack in Kupwara

Stone-pelting by protesters has been reported near encounter site after the attack on in Kupwara Army camp in which three soldiers were martyred.

Reports suggest that the stone pelting is being carried out to sabotage the ongoing encounter between the Indian Army and the militants.

Three soldiers were martyred while five others injured after militants launched a fidayeen attack on an army camp at the Chowkibal Panzgam area in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir.

Two terrorists were neutralised in the encounter. Combing operations are underway.
