Good news: IPL controversy faded away, After Dhoni, now Sreesanth to become father

Kochi, March 31: S Sreesanth, the banned cricketer, once again made headlines. However, this time he is in news for some good reason. After all controversies and ups and downs in his life, the former Team India player is going to become father.

He has been quoted as saying, "I am giving ample time to my wife these days and I have not given any dates for May to anyone. I am going through a happy phase now."

Speaking about his wish, he said, "I am not interested in a boy or a girl. I want an 'angel' in the family. I am looking forward to being a father."

The cricketer, who soon will be seen in many movies, was banned due to his alleged connection with IPL spot fixing which had shocked the country in 2013.

Sreesanth along with other cricketers and bookies was arrested and was sent to jail. However, spending months in jail, he finally secured to get bail.

The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) slapped life bans on Sreesanth and other cricketers. [Sreesanth may head back to jail, bail may be cancelled]

Later in Dec 2013, he got married to Bhubaneshwari, who hails from a royal family in Rajasthan.
